Dr. Bertsche is an excellent neurologist and an excellent care provider. I have seen her over the past four years as she has helped me recover from a neuropathy resulting from a fall that caused drop foot in my right foot for an extended period of time. I am about 95% recovered from that neuropathy and have full use of my foot again. Just recently I tore a ligament in my other ankle, resulting in drop foot in the left foot. Of course, I got scared; but Dr. Bertsche did a thorough examination and read my MRI, and then she diagnosed the drop foot as due to a compression neuropathy based on the ligament tear in the ankle. She explained everything to me and made me feel completely "unscared". If I ever have to go to a neurologist for any other neurological problem, I hope I will always get to see Dr. Bertsche.
