About Archit C. Bhatt

Dr. Bhatt is a board certified neurologist specializing in stroke and neurocritical care. He joins Providence Stroke Center from Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he was stroke director. Dr. Bhatt earned his medical degree from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad, India, and his master's in public health - epidemiology from Tulane School of Public Health in New Orleans. He completed a residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital through Cornell University and New York Presbyterian Health System. He then completed fellowships in neurology and stroke and vascular neurology at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, Mich. though Michigan State University, where he was also chief resident.

Dr. Bhatt is board certified in internal medicine, neurology, vascular neurology and neurosonology. He is the founding and associate editor of The Neurohospitalist journal. He has been a member of clinical faculty at Michigan State University and is an active member of the medical community with presentations and publications. Dr. Bhatt is part of Providence Brain and Spine Institute and Providence Medical Group.
