This was my first visit with Dr Olney.It was an emotionally difficult appointment in terms of speaking of a possible ALS diagnosis. Dr Olney was precise but thoughtful and caring in answering all of my family's many questions. We left the appointment feeling secure in his knowledge of the subject and faith in his guidance wherever this road shall lead us.

No bad experiences

Dr is great. He has many patients and gets over loaded sometimes. This was the first time I had to wait near an hour but he was very apologetic as he came in the door. He really cares for his patients.

Dr. Olney spent a lot of time with us, answering our questions and discussing the health issues we are dealing with related to Parkinson's and vascular dementia.

Dr. Olney is a good neurologist. I have seen 11 neurologists in the last 18 years and it is extremely difficult to find a good neurologist, especially one who listens, understands my illness, has appropriate people skills, and respects the fact that I am the one living with the disease and understand it better than any doctor ever will.

He spent the time he needed to listen to all our concerns.

In general, I found the professionals and procedures involved with my appointment to be comfortable to talk with and informative about what the appointment goal was. The flow of the appointment was interrupted a couple times, but did not seem to cause any problems.

Dr Olney is fabulous. Hard to schedule as his load is heavy with such limited neurology access in Providence and PDX

Dr. Olney is both kind and friendly in dealing with a my husbands LBD. That is not easy. He is open to ideas and seems genuinely concerned not just for my husband, but for me as his caregiver.

The care team at this ALS clinic had to face me in my most trying time and worry. It is a huge challenge for them, since the grim news could be on the way. The team's positivity was excellent, which helped alleviate my worries.

Dr Olney is quite personable and easy to talk to you. He explains things clearly, provides clear Information, and listens to you. You know that you are supported by him and his team if you need them.

Our experience with Providence is overall positive. Good response time; good communication; the doctors listen and care. We have had only good experiences with the staff.

Dr. Olney was very helpful in getting the scrip I needed for a certain health Issue. I appreciate him listening and knowing my concern and took care of calling in the script immediately.

This was my 1st appointment with this provider. Considering the seriousness of the dx the visit went well. Follow up testing was ordered timely.
