About Danielle M. Wald Baker

Dr. Wald is a licensed psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist with formal two-year fellowship training from the University of Florida in the evaluation of adults (age 18 and above) with neurological and/or medical disease or injury. She provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for adults and has extensive experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team consulting with various medical specialties. Dr. Wald has specialized training in the evaluation of patients with epilepsy syndromes, Parkinson’s disease/movement disorders, memory disorders, traumatic brain injuries, cerebrovascular disease/stroke, AVM, multiple sclerosis, normal pressure hydrocephalus, and other neuropsychiatric and medical disorders. She completes pre and postsurgical deep brain stimulation (DBS), epilepsy, brain tumor, and normal pressure hydrocephalus evaluations. She also has formal training in intraoperative cortical mapping procedures (language and motor) for brain tumor resections and Wada procedures. Dr. Wald’s research interests include postsurgical cognitive outcomes in epilepsy resection and the mediating role of exercise on cognition and mood in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Wald received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Washington School of Professional Psychology. She then completed a pre-internship from the University of Washington Regional Epilepsy Center and internship from the APA accredited University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Wald completed a two-year neuropsychology postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Florida.
