About Drew M. Houston

Dr. Drew Houston says his interest in neurology comes from his "passion for fostering meaningful patient relationships, guiding patients toward a better quality of life, and solving diagnostic challenges." His goal as a provider is "to listen, understand the needs of patients, and work as a team in order to meet their needs and provide high quality care. I find deep gratification in working with and caring for patients with complex neurologic diseases. It's a very rewarding and humbling experience."

Dr. Houston practices general neurology and has additional training in neuromuscular medicine, including nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG), to diagnose and treat complex diseases, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP), Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), myasthenia gravis, myositis, myopathy, and neuropathy. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys hiking, camping, and clamming on the Oregon coast. In his spare time, he says "most days, I am happy spending time with family and reading a good book."
