I heard from several people that Dr. Beck is the best doctor for backs. We are driving from Helena to Missoula to see Dr. Beck.

It's only the 3rd time I've met with Dr. Beck about my back, initial meet, surgery and now. New issue with my back, but he doesn't think it is my back and honestly said he didn't know what is causing my leg pain. He has provided a referral for an epidural and increased my meds. It's still an ongoing issue at this time.

The nurse was excellent , spent quality time with me getting information. This Dr walked in and said you don't need me for surgery Oh why did you have 3 MRIs and felt good or numbness with wheel thing. But not where I'm numb. Said Bye.See a neurologist. Bye a couple minutes I thought I could ask him questions, he was a waste o the time!!!I waited all this time, for nothing.Happy He's not my Dr how non caring he acted. I wouldn't refer anyone to him.

This is the first time I have seen Dr.Beck and he treating me for problems with my back and !egs. I am scheduled for surgery at the end of this month. I am very pleased with Dr.Beck and his staff.

About three years ago, I had a foraminatomy surgery with Dr. Beck and at that time he told me that it is likely that I would have to come back to have the other side done and that is just what happened. Surgery was successful both times! Dr. Beck improved my quality of life immensely. I am very thankful to him.

Dr Beck was always helpful, operated successfully and visited in recovery. A member of his team saw me each day in the hospital.

Dr Beck is one of the best doctors I've had. He has helped me so much.

My care provider (and his team) is thoughtful and caring. I am thankful to have his care. I know his schedule is always full, and that the long wait times between visits and necessary services is due to patient scheduling within the system.

Spinal surgery is best done by neurosurgeons, and Dr. Beck is one of the best. I have had spinal surgeries done at 3 different hospitals and none compares to Provident St. Patrick. All of my experiences with Dr. Beck have been excellent, and the staff is wonderful and caring.

I can honestly say I have had the very best care at Providence hospital.

No bad experiences so far. Will have back surgery near the end of April. Dr. Beck thoroughly discussed the upcoming procedure well. He kept referring to the MRI I underwent just before my appointment with him. He was rather matter of fact but very professional in our time together.

The follow up appointment went over where I was at with post 6 weeks appointment showed the surgery went well

Dr. Beck was very abrupt and rude. He was in the room less than 10 minutes and I did a 2 hour drive for nothing. He could've looked at my records prior to the appt and told me he didn't think he could help me instead of waste my time. He was extremely confrontational and my sensitive to the massive amount of pain I'm in. I froze several times when he got in my face and kept repeating questions very loud and In an argumentative way. His nurse was much kinder and welcoming. I was able to tell her my issues, but I doubt he even knew or cared about any of them. He didn't even touch or look at my neck or back. An MRI isn't a tell all when I can't even hold a tooth brush or phone.

He is very curt, dismissive and just said your back is heathy without trying to then find the cause of pain

I appreciate Dr.Beck's knowledge and talent. His nurse was very knowledgeable and professional. The staff that called me after my visit to schedule my appointments were very rude and unprofessional.

Dr. Carter Beck is an awesome Neurosurgeon. I have had him do two back surgeries for me. I would recommend him anytime.

I wouldn't want to see anyone but Dr Beck for my back. He has seen me through several back surgeries, with great results. He's absolutely the Best neurosurgeon around. I wouldn't even go to an out of state Dr unless by his recommendation only.

Dr Beck and his staff were absolutely top notch. He provided me with a solution to my problem that 3 others surgeons could not. The entire hospital was a complete, and total pleasure. Professional, courteous, and stress free!

Before seeing Dr Beck, I have had nearly two years of Dr visits, exams, imaging and injections. I have had persistent low back and leg pain with radiating pins and needles and numbness in my feet. I have lost the ability to walk with stability. I have even been referred to a neurologist to rule out MS. Finally, I was diagnosed with SI Joint dysfunction and referred to Dr Beck. Dr B came into the exam room having carefully reviewed my records and films. He did a thorough interview re my symptoms and neuro exam, followed by his assessment of my condition. He proposed the surgery he believed would relieve my symptoms. He was the best patient educator I have encountered and I am a very picky RN of quite a few years! Anticipating surgery!

I saw Dr Beck for consultation on back surgery. I found him to be very straight forward in his evaluation of my problem and I appreciate his information. When time comes for surgery I will indeed put myself in his hands.
