About Scott E. Capobianco
Dr. Capobianco graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 1985 and Electrical Engineering in 1986 from the University of Southern California. He pursued his education at USC and graduated with his Medical Doctorate in 1990 and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in 1994.
He has been a partner and physician site director of Mission Heritage Medical Group OB/GYN department since 2017 and CEO of Mission OB/GYN Medical Group since 2011. Associate faculty member of Kern Medical center since 2013 and clinical associate professor of OB/GYN, Ross University School of medicine since 2013.
His medical interests are robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgical techniques and high risk pregnancy. He is bilingual in English and Spanish. His hobbies are mountain biking, skiing, scuba diving, beach volleyball and travel. Dr. Capobianco has done about 300 successful GYN robotic cases.

I've been seeing Dr. Capobianco about 16 years. He is an excellent physician. Makes one feel comfortable and unembarassed while getting a PAP smear, rectal and vaginal exam, and breast palpation. No easy feat! I have always seen female gynecologists previously. When I moved into the area, needed emergency hysterectomy and was referred to him by another doctor. I am 68 and hope he doesn't retire as long as I need to see a gynecologist. Would hate to change! He is the BEST!

Dr. Scott Capobianco has been by far the best doctor I've ever had. He's very thorough and cares about my overall health. After a routine blood work he recommended I see a gastroenterologist due to my high liver enzymes. My own primary doctor has never pushed me to see a specialist in the past and my numbers have been high before. However Dr. Capobianco being my gynecologist guided me and because of his persistence I was able to reverse the liver issues I had. I live 50 miles from his office and I will always drive to him.
