About Shelby R. Booker
Shelby Booker has recently relocated to Napa, CA after completing her OB/GYN residency in Metro Detroit area of Michigan. She has an Osteopathic Medical degree from Michigan State University and a Master's in Public Health. Dr. Booker discovered her love for traveling and Obstetrics/Gynecology while completing her Master's research on health care access in rural Peru. She believes that each of her patients has a unique story to share with us as their medical providers. Dr. Booker’s primary goal is to first listen to their story and provide them with honest and individualized guidance regarding their medical care. She enjoys cooking for her family & friends, traveling to different parts of the world and biking around town (say hello! if you see her).

Very nice office friendly and respectful staff and provider they took care of me fast in the office the only thing is that I had to wait 2 months to be seen.

Dr.Booker was clearly over tasked. She is an excellent doctor. I was there for a check up so my prescription could be renewed and she didn't ask about it at all.

Overall, I really appreciated Dr. Booker's approach. I was however disappointed that she had nothing to say about the scientific paper I gave her related to my problem. She simply handed it back to me w/o looking at it. No way for me to know if she had already read it, wasn't at all interested, doesn't think that being up on currently published data is of value, etc. I found this slightly concerning.
