Dr. Spivak is a great doctor. In the last 3 years I have seen 5 of the ob/gyns at Providence. 2 have left Providence, 1 was temporary and 1 is retiring. This situation needs attention.

The doctor was very easy to talk to, she made me feel comfortable

Doctor came in with preconceived ideas about my body and situation, instead of listening to my concerns and tests I wanted to run, I was told there's no need and keep doing the same thing I was which is not what the appoint my regular provider had made it for.

She was warn, friendly, professional and knowledgeable-

Dr. Spivak was excellent! This was my first visit with her. She listened to my concerns, was knowledgeable about them, and made sound recommendations. Her bedside manner was compassionate and kind. She made me feel very comfortable . I liked her so much.

The doctor seemed to have out of date information about the nature of hormone replacement therapy, for example progesterone vs progestin and the relationship to breast cancer. I did not feel respected as an intelligent person worthy of explanation as to why my information was different from hers. Im not an alternative healthcare whacko, I believe in science, vaccines, and research. I got the sense she thought I should just suck it up and was not entitled to health care specifically for my needs, in particular wanting to have a normal sex life with my husband, managing pain that has appeared with my menopause symptoms, and dealing with cognitive issues that many women like me experience with menopause. The entire practice seemed only concerned with people who can have babies and not other health matters related women's reproductive system health. There was not a single piece of literature in the office on menopause, meanwhile, they were reams of Parent magazine. There was no exam, so I might as well use a womens telehealth service. I will not return to this practice because it is clearly not concerned about women like me. That said, support staff was kind and caring.

Haven't had a bad experience she listens, Is engaged, offers solutions great experience, wish she was my primary Dr I have a sense of calm with her, I believe what she has to say with confidence this entire office is a 10,10,10,10
