Dr Altenau is doing a procedure on me and explained in detail what I can expect. Very nice Dr knows her stuff.

Dr. Altenau was amazing. She took her time and explained in detail what she would be doing in surgery. Very thorough. Her bedside manners are applaudable. I didn't just feel like a patient, but a person as well. She is a very good Dr.

Doc explained everything is such great detail! It was way more than I expected. I've never had a surgeon tell me every thing they are going to do.

During my appointment to assess a mass in my uterus, Dr. Altenau quickly charted a course forward for me by providing two possible paths based on the results of a CA125 blood test which she ordered that day. She described in great detail and with clarity one procedure, a hysteroscopy, and spoke candidly but not in an alarming way of the possibility of cancer. She allayed many fears I had. I left her office feeling very reassured and confident my health issue will be taken care of quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Altenau.

This provider was amazing. I was really scared for my appointment and she talked me through everything by that was going to happen with my procedure. She answered my myriad of questions with thought out answers. She was kind and patient and didn't make me feel like I was just another patient to mark off of her schedule. Genuinely it was one of the best experiences I've had with an OBGYN

Dr. Alteneau is the most loving, caring and compassionate Physician I have. I WISH we could spend more time together. She's very busy with many responsibilities and in high demand.She helps me a lot when we do spend time together.

This appointment with Dr. Altenau was the first time I really felt truly heard regarding the pain and problems I had been experiencing. She came in with options and tons of info and really put me at ease regarding this whole process. It was a 10/10 experience after some less than stellar experiences with previous providers I've seen during this pregnancy.
