Shannon believes in partnering with people to make their own decisions in their reproductive lives. Her midwifery practice is rooted in principles of shared decision making, evidence-based practice and promoting reproductive autonomy. She incorporates trauma-informed care into her practice and has a deep desire to make people feel empowered in their bodies and their choices. These values fuel her practice and give her a deep sense of fulfillment in her work. She is grateful to be a part of people's reproductive health care at such pivotal moments in their lives.
