About Taylor E. Hobson
Dr. Hobson is a Southern California native. He completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA where he obtained his B.S. in Physiological Sciences while also competing on the Varsity Men’s Track and Field team. Following this, he stayed in Los Angeles to obtain his M.D. as well as his M.B.A. from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the UCLA Anderson School of Management, respectively. He then went to the University of Utah for his orthopaedic surgery residency, followed by Case Western Reserve University for his sports medicine fellowship. During his fellowship, he served as team physician for the NFL (Cleveland Browns), USFL (New Jersey Generals and Pittsburgh Maulers), and AHL (Cleveland Monsters). Dr. Hobson currently volunteers as team physician for Notre Dame High School. He loves staying active in his free time working out as well as playing basketball and beach volleyball.

Dr. Hobson is one of the most kind, caring and knowledgeable physicians/surgeons I am blessed to have as a part of my care team. He performed an excellent surgery in December 2025, and when I injured my knee, I was able to get in to see him, have a stat MRI and the results all within 3 days. We were on vacation when I called, I was given an appointment on Monday after my return from vacation, had the stat MRI on Tuesday and by Wednesday afternoon, Dr. Hobson and I had a phone appointment where he explained my results. I was on a tight schedule because we were going to our family reunion, which are far more important to us now that our family is getting older. Dr. Hobson cared so much he made this all happen for me, which allowed me to go and see the family. He's an exceptional physician, surgeon and human being. My husband and I will always be incredibly grateful for him.
