About Michael J. Moses
Dr. Michael Moses is an orthopaedic surgeon and a hand and upper extremity specialist in Los Angeles. Dr. Moses completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital (formerly HJD), and his hand and upper extremity fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Dr. Moses studied music composition and vocal performance as an undergraduate at Princeton University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Moses attended medical school at NYU School of Medicine, where he completed his MD program and was inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Moses is active in multiple national societies representing orthopaedic surgeons. He serves as a Social Media Ambassador for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and serves on the Diversity Board for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH). He is a board member of the California Orthopaedic Association (COA). Additionally, he has published over fifty peer-reviewed research papers, surgical technique videos, and book chapters, and has presented his research at national and international meetings. Dr. Moses has a commitment to excellence in hand and upper extremity surgery and is driven by a desire to provide the highest level of care and contribute to the well-being of those he has the privilege to serve. I am recovering from Carpal Tunnel Surgery, Dr. Moses has provided me with a good surgery and great contuinued care post op.

He spent less than 5 minutes with me. He did not listen to my concerns. He did not look for the images (X-rays) taken at another facility. There was very little explanation as to what he thought was going on with my hand. I left felling rushed and bewildered.

It was good. He's obviously an expert. It was fast? But decisive. He gave me a PTscrip which reasonably was probably all I could expect. I've had a lot of pain over a long period of time. We didn't get to talk much about that but I guess the PT will be more in depth.

Dr. Moses listened to my concerns and addressed them with care and professionalism. He explained that the contractions in my fingers could be treated with a steroid injection. It was painless and quick. If the issue persists, I am to follow up in 2 months.
