I continue to be impressed by the access to care in Walla Walla compared to the Tri-Cities. I was able to see Dr. David Cai right away, and he immediately helped ease some of my fears surrounding CPAP use. He took the time to answer my questions, offer practical tips to help me breathe better, and make me feel heard and respected. It's clear that Dr. Cai genuinely cares about his patients. He is a provider who listens, treats people with respect, and takes the time to address concerns without making you feel rushed. I truly appreciate the care and reassurance he provided during a time when I had a lot of questions. It's refreshing to receive care that feels both compassionate and patient-centered.

For this visit, Dr. Cai went above and beyond by staying late when I developed a complication. He was pleasant, caring, and professional throughout, making what could have been a stressful situation very comfortable. He even called the next day to make sure I'd had no further problems. This is how medicine is supposed to be practiced. Thank you, Dr. Cai.

As far as my visit to the ear, nose and throat clinic with Dr. Cia, I was extremely pleased and impressed with his knowledge and honesty. It was refreshing to feel like he genuinely cared and wasn't just concerned with his volume of patients. I haven't felt this way about any doctor I've visited for a very long time. I've come to the conclusion that doctors who only want to give me a pill and don't have time to interact or listen to me are more concerned about money than people. My recent visits to my urologist, I asked him what did he recommend I do to slow the progression of my cancer? He told me there was nothing I could do. I said "well what about proper nutrition, changes in my lifestyle, exercise, and proper sleep? His reply was " yeah, those are always a good idea". Right there I knew that telling him, I have a hard time sleeping, and that lately my appetite isn't what it should be and I'm lacking in enough energy to exercise properly, so I left his office unsatisfied with his allopathic training, his level of empathy and my willingness to talk to a care handler like this (even though it means if I live longer or not).
