In this instance, my initial appointment from a referral was schedule six weeks out(!) but the schedule office found a cancellation slot for me reducing that wait time by 5 weeks! Meredith Ruland was very professional and listened to what I had to say concerning my back problems and explained what options were available to help with my condition.

As a PA myself, I hate these surveys. They do give you the demographics you need but surveys do not reflect the relationship between patients and providers. Meredith Ruland is kind, understanding, proficient and takes time to listen and NOT stare at the computer screen; she actually took notes by hand. With pain patients, it is the need to be understood and LISTENED to, for us to tell our stories and have them respected. She also placed hands on me, something providers are doing less and less. She is a good provider.

Merideth was empathetic, concerned, compassionate and provided excellent advice.

I now have hope that my chronic back pain can be managed and my mobility can improve. This provider practices patient-centered care-authentic listening, caring presence, thorough assessment, proactively educates about health needs, and is enthusiastic about her role helping patients who live with pain. Wish more providers were like her!
