About Daniel Gonzalez-Gomez

Daniel is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in palliative care at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California. He completed his undergraduate studies at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He then completed the RN Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, gaining clinical experience across orthopedics, step-down, and critical care — including serving as an ICU float nurse during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Daniel went on to earn his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern California. Prior to joining Providence Saint John's, he developed broad clinical experience in primary care across all ages, and specialized further in home health, hospice, and palliative care. His approach to patient centered care is rooted in both professional expertise and personal understanding. Having undergone treatment for Hodgkin Lymphoma himself, Daniel brings a deeply informed perspective to helping patients navigate complex medical decisions, symptom management, and quality of life concerns.
