About Gurleen K. Kahlon

Dr. Kahlon is a fellowship-trained Pediatric Gastroenterologist specializing in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal, hepatic, and nutritional disorders in children. She completed her fellowship at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Arizona, where she gained advanced expertise in various GI procedures, Eosinophilic esophagitis, Celiac disease, Inflammatory bowel disease, aerodigestive, and complex feeding disorders.
Dr. Kahlon completed her Pediatric Residency and served as Chief Resident at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York City, where she was recognized for her leadership and dedication to education and quality improvement. She earned her medical degree from Government Medical College in Amritsar, India, and has completed visiting student programs at leading U.S. institutions, including Cleveland Clinic, FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, and UT Houston McGovern Medical School.
Actively involved in clinical research, Dr. Kahlon has presented her work at numerous national and international conferences including NASPGHAN, DDW, AAP, Feeding Matters and the Aerodigestive Society. She is an active member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Dr. Kahlon is committed to providing equitable, compassionate, and family-centered care. Guided by her perspective as both a physician and a mother, she strives to ease the worries of families, educate and empower parents, and ensure every child receives care marked by empathy, respect, and excellence. Her goal is to leave a lasting impression through compassionate healing and inspire others to continue the same legacy of care and hope.

Outside of medicine, I’m fueled by family adventures with my husband and son—whether that means hiking a new trail, dancing in the living room, or discovering the next great local eatery. I have an incurable curiosity for good food, good music, and good stories (especially when they come in the form of movies or binge-worthy TV). I’m also a part-time yogi, occasional chef, and full-time enthusiast for exploring life beyond the clinic—with equal passion for nature, flavor, and a little retail therapy.
