About Wendy Y. Laborie
Having the privilege to help others is what Wendy Laborie, MD, most enjoys about being a doctor. "I wanted a career where I could serve my community and fellow man," she says.
In her practice, Dr. Laborie emphasizes listening to her patients. She believes that her most important role as a physician is to be a source of support and guidance.
Dr. Laborie earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Texas in Houston.
Fluent in both Spanish and French, in her free time she enjoys skiing, hiking and spending time with her two children.

Dr. Laborie and her team of providers has always gone out of their way to make me feel heard and valued as a patient and as an individual. As a person with complicated medical issues this is VERY VALUABLE. I am extremely afraid of what the loss of my privately purchased individual Providence Health Plan is going to mean at the end of this year. I have been with this excellent team of doctors for almost 15 years and I don't want to be forced to find a new, less invested in my health, care team.
