About Rein H. L. Lambrecht
Originally born in Germany and with a Belgian heritage, Dr. Lambrecht grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Case Western Reserve University, followed by medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. During medical school she was a founding member of an organization, called PODEMOS that continues to provide sustainable care for underserved communities in Honduras. She completed residency training at Greater Lawrence Family Medicine Residency in Lawrence, MA. During residency Dr. Lambrecht was actively involved in residency education which led her to seek a faculty position post residency. She joined the faculty of St Peter Family Medicine Residency in 2014 to start the Chehalis Rural Training Program. Her particular interests in Family Medicine include caring for underserved populations, women’s health and prenatal care, addiction medicine and healthcare systems. She is fluent in Spanish. As the Associate Program Director, her main focus with the residency program is curricular development and residency education. Outside of work you will find her spending her time with her two beautiful children, picking up every rock or leaf they can find.
