About Charmika T. Schuster
Charmika Schuster, FNP, is a nurse practitioner focused on physical medicine and rehabilitation. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and a Master of Science in nursing from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.
Charmika says she felt called to become a nurse so she could deliver care to those who are suffering and less fortunate. "I've been blessed with the opportunity to travel abroad and provide care in East and West Africa, Jamaica and Haiti," she says. "I started a Portland-based nonprofit to help doctors, nurses and other volunteers deliver mobile care to communities that lack access to medical care," said Charmika.
