Routine appointment for pre surgery for back ablation

Dr. Shaver was polite and gave me 3 options for treatment, explaining each one. When I made my decision he said good choice. He made me feel like what I wanted was important. I enjoyed my time with him.

Thomas shaver has been helping me with back and leg pain and keeps an open mind as he considers the reasons for my pain and the alternatives for treating it. It's a multifaceted problem and there's a lot of hit and miss treatment so it's a little disappointing. I believe he's doing the best he can by me.

I saw doctor shaver for chronic elbow pain.I felt like his responses were appropriate, Informed , and that he genuinely cared about my next steps , moving forward. I am grateful that I was able to get in b c by someone who appeared to genuinely care about what I was trying to accomplish. Not just pain relief, but functionality that supports my lifestyle of exercise , health and wellness!!! And god bless him , he didn't say it's age related , that gives him a gold star all the way around!!!!!

I liked Dr. Shaver - he was kind, respectful (which is critical to me), and seemed to care. He empowered me in our treatment plan, which I appreciated. I am left with a bit of a sense (and dread) that we're missing something, but as someone with a very complicated health history, I am accustomed to that. It'll all be discovered sooner or later. But, overall, I appreciated Dr. Shaver and I would be very comfortable seeing him again.

Thomas Shaver is a great asset to Providence and he actually listen, cares and treat you with respect. He talks to you not at you. You're not just a number.
