Raised in Los Angeles , Dr. Jacobs graduated with honors from the University of California – Los Angeles and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He took a few months off during his medical studies to travel and study in Israel. While there he began a path of learning that included spirituality and how it effects people’s lives. This in turn lead him to focus his practice in medicine on integrating the whole person when treating illnesses and focusing on wellness. He has come to understand that a patient’s mind and intentions can truly affect their health. He is excited to be bringing this learning to his integrative medical practice. A patient of Dr. Jacobs will experience his approach to treating the whole person, rather than just symptoms.
Dr. Jacobs was awarded The 2008 Congressional Order of Merit by the National Congressional Committee in recognition of his commitment, loyalty and dedication of service. He is a co-founder of The Friendship Circle, a charity that raises funds for children with special needs. He previously volunteered at the Los Angeles Free Clinic and The Ronald McDonald House. In addition to spending time with his wife and daughter, Dr. Jacobs enjoys reading, music, weightlifting and meditation.
