About Amy-Van T. Bui

Dr. Bui grew up in Florida and graduated with research honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center where she was named Resident of the Year and also received an Award for Diabetic Research. After residency, Dr. Bui returned to Florida for her Endocrinology & Metabolism Fellowship and, during this time, focused on the detection and treatment of thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer. She has authored several publications related to thyroid nodule detection and/or the treatment of thyroid cancer. While in fellowship, she was also selected by the Endocrine Fellows Foundation to further her training in metabolic bone disease at Columbia University. Dr. Bui practices general endocrinology but has a special interest in thyroid and metabolic bone disease.
