I just thought I wasn't getting options for treatment and the Dr was giving one one option to remove my uterus vs previous Dr. Also it took her a long time to see me when I was already in the room.

Love Dr Granese she is great. Front desk staff always has attitude especially the one who checked me out, rolled her eyes a lot at me every time I had a question. The only reason I continue to go here is because I like Dr Granese as my OBGYN.

My experience on this visit was surprising to me because past visits have been very good with this care provider. This visit was a Dr scheduled follow up to an appointment back in mid/November.At that time the care giver told me at the next visit she would perform an exam to assess the efficacy of the RX she had prescribed. After sitting 20 minutes in the near empty waiting room I was brought back to the exam room, the medical tech was unaware that I was there for an exam. She told me that the Dr had not planned to examine me. I requested that the exam be performed because that's why I was there. I waited in the exam room for 45 +/- minutes - at the 30 minute mark I wrapped the drape around my body and opened the door to make sure the staff knew I was still in the exam room. The Dr finally arrived and did not acknowledge how far behind she was or how long I had waited. She did not know why I was there, I had to explain that I was there at her request back in November for the follow up. At the end of the exam she asked about a regular yearly exam and asked a couple of questions. I had to remind her that I have had a hysterectomy. She was not aware that I had had a complete hysterectomy. All of this information is in my records. We went over my medical history before she prescribed the HRT. I can understand the Dr running late but I would expect a check in from the staff to acknowledge that the Dr is running late and just to let me know that they know that I'm in the exam room. I would also expect that Dr would be aware of my medical history and be aware of the purpose of my visit. I am a fairly new patient to this care giver but have been with the practice for many years. She came highly recommended to me and my other visits with her were very favorable.
