About Shela R. Moreno

S. Renee Moreno, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, has provided mental health care since 2011 in state hospital, inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, and outpatient settings. She has been affiliated with Providence for more than 15 years and returned in 2025 as a Nurse Practitioner. A graduate of Frontier Nursing University, she is board certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Her work spans inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric consultation services, and outpatient care. She is committed to culturally safe, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, nature, water activities, and creative pursuits.
