Deke Marcus, PSY

Dr. Deke Marcus is a board certified clinical psychologist practicing in south Orange County. He earned a Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University. His doctoral thesis in collaboration with the Department of Veteran Affairs was on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in the military. He received extensive psychoanalytic and depth psychology training from a Jung Institute Certified Analyst. Dr. Marcus conducts therapy for children, adolescents, adults, seniors, couples, and families. He is experienced in mens psychology including masculinity, roles, relationships, parenting, rites of passage, financial issues, addictions and phase of life transitions. Dr. Marcus not only focuses on assisting the client with current struggles but growing the client’s insight, resilience and adaptability.
