Very professional and answered all my concerns and was quite helpful

This was a very positive visit. I was anxious because I had very negative ideas about PAP equipment. Everyone in the office treated me with respect and kindness. The provider was especially good at answering my questions and reassuring me. I was so frightened about PAP equipment that I cried. She told me more than once that my tears were okay. She spent more time with me than I expected and I needed that extra time to learn and be more comfortable about PAP equipment.

The bottom line here is that Deb Fertakis and the care she prescribed is no less than the reason I am still alive. I had no real idea of the severity of my condition, but once diagnosed she made all steps in making the condition reduce to an almost non-existent state.She IS the absolute best, and the support staff in that office are also top tier.

I felt that this wasn't something I would have known I needed. Dr. Fertakis made that very clear and I am thankful for her advice. I had to change out my masks several times and had no problem getting something that worked. So far I think the current mask will work.

Outside of my primary doctor this is the first time in a long time that I've felt so comfortable discussing my issues. I left the appointment feeling great. She gave me some great information on things that I could work on to help improve my sleep.I've already told all of my family and friends what a great doctor she was. I would highly recommend her to anyone having sleeping difficulties.

Long term provider who communicates well

I've always had a good experience with any of the Providence providers I've seen, including Holy Family Hospital. All have been thorough and knowledgeable and staff have been courteous, friendly and helpful. I had some excellent nurses during 2 admissions to the Acute Care Unit earlier this year. Great job Providence!
