About Sarah Walcott-Sapp

Dr. Sarah Walcott-Sapp is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in the treatment of breast cancer and other breast diseases. She gets to know each of her patients personally to provide uniquely tailored multidisciplinary care. Dr. Walcott-Sapp has a research interest in optimizing quality of life and outcomes after completion of breast cancer treatment.

She grew up in New Jersey and attended the University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate education. After spending two years doing clinical research for an orthopedic surgeon in New York City, Dr. Walcott-Sapp attended medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, and then completed a general surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon where she won awards for research in developmental physiology and breast cancer imaging. While completing a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California Dr. Walcott-Sapp performed research focused on outcomes following neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer.
