About Marina Cheng
Marina Cheng MD FACS is an American Board of Urology certified adult general Urologist in Olympia, WA. She has been with Providence St Peter’s Hospital since 2015. She enjoys handling a broad range of urologic problems but has particular professional interest in treating male and female bladder symptoms and complex kidney stone management from small to very large stones. Dr Cheng provides various minimally invasive treatments for Benign Prostate Hyperplasia. She is a Center of Excellence and teaching faculty for Urolift, and also performs other minimally invasive procedures such as iTind stenting and Optilume balloon dilation--the latter of which can be used for BPH or urethral scar tissue. She is a major Urologist in the South Sound area for managing female incontinence and overactive bladder where she can offer sacral neuromodulation implant, percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation, or Botox bladder injections to her patients who fail medications. For female stress urinary incontinence, she can perform Bulkamid urethral bulking injections. Dr Cheng graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, and after a career overseas, returned to the US where she found her calling in medicine. She obtained her MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her Urology residency in 2012 from Medical College of Georgia.
