About Daniel B. Thornley

Daniel Thornley, PA-C graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho in 2017 with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology. Dan then went on to receive a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Augsburg University in Minneapolis Minnesota. There he trained at prestigious institutions such as Mayo Clinic, Children's Hospital, and the University of Minnesota Hospital. He was deeply inspired to pursue a career in medicine from the doctors who treated his mother during her battle with cancer and his father's compassionate service as a volunteer EMS crew member. Dan started his medical career by practicing as an Urgent Care provider throughout the Rogue Valley. During this time, he found a deep love and appreciation for procedural medicine which caused him to pursue his current position on the General/Trauma Surgery Team. In his free time Dan enjoys fishing, hunting, participating in archery competitions, and exploring nature with his wife. He also gives back to his community with helping elderly residents with household duties and leading a young men's group at his church. Dan is an Oregon native having grown up in Eastern Oregon on a cattle ranch and family farm. He thoroughly enjoys opportunities he has to go back and spend time with family.
