About John N. Dussel
Dr. Dussel is an experienced clinician, who provides a balance of classic vascular theory, modern techniques and evidence-based approaches to developing individual, patient-centered treatment plans. He believes in the relationship between the vascular team and patient which - successfully applied - accomplishes the common goal of optimal patient health. Dr. Dussel was raised and educated in the Northeast. He grew up on the North Shore of Long Island, New York and attended Boston College. There he achieved his undergraduate degree in Biology and was a Division One Varsity Swimmer. After college graduation, he spent six months doing cancer research at Massachusetts General Hospital. He attended St. George’s University Medical School where his interest in surgery and patient care lead him to a surgical residency and induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. At Waterbury Hospital, Dr. Dussel completed a five-year residency and became Board Certified in General Surgery by the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Dussel continued his surgical training and education specializing in vascular surgery with a fellowship from the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Dussel is married to Dr. Adrienne Bingham, a neonatologist and Pacific Northwest native. With their twin boys, the four spend their free time exploring Oregon’s natural beauty while hitting every donut shop along the way.
