The Dr listens, he repeated back to me the important issues I am concerned about. The whole staff were helpful, patient and kind. I was really impressed.

Dr. Papenhausen is terrific! He is competent, skilled, and an excellent communicator. The scheduling difficulties arose as the scheduler asked that I schedule the multiple ultrasounds, which previously was done by the scheduler in order to ensure that the tests would be performed on the same day as the appointment with the doc, thereby ensuring that the test results would inform the doc immediately and that I could get everything in one trip from Mount Vernon. It would have been difficult for me to sync up both the lab and physician appointments. I had to push back several times to get the scheduler to assume responsibility for this. I was not advised she had done so until I called to follow up.

Dr Papenhausen addressed the issue I was there for. He also set up a plan of action should the need arise. We both agreed that this was the proper protocol for me. I am very happy with the Dr.

It's difficult,I see more than one MD DR and Staff .Some are beyond amazing and some for example in emergency department benete expected- where I will not volunterely go back .

This doctor was incredibly warm, informative, encouraging, and never made me feel like I was being rushed. He went through my scans with me to show me what they determined, explained things in ways that I would understand, let me ask questions, he asked me questions, he clearly explained our next steps and timeline, and he made me feel very calm. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Dr. Papenhausen provides excellent professional medical care. The only "limitation" is he practices parttime.

I have been seen & treated by Dr. Papenhausen, (and many of his associates) for venous insufficiency since his office was established. Dr. Papenhausen is knowledgeable, personable, and courteous, aside from his main focus of treating & relieving the painful symptoms caused by varicose veins. I consistently receive excellent care & I thoroughly enjoy chatting with him during my visits...it helps take your mind off of the needle sticks!!!
