About Jessica H. Lay
Jessica is a board-certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) with specialized training in women’s health. Jessica received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Tennessee Technological University in 2001. She began working at a local regional medical center in obstetrics: labor and delivery, newborn nursery and postpartum. With a growing desire to expand her skills in the care of women, she pursued and earned a Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2005. Until her move out to Washington in 2016, she continued to work at the local hospital and in private practice. After seeing the unmet needs of women experiencing substance use disorder (SUD), especially in pregnancy, she pursued and earned a Master of Arts in Advanced Addiction Therapies in 2022 from Eastern Washington University. At the heart of Jessica’s practice is the desire to see the needs of women met that support whole-person health, especially for those that are most vulnerable.
