Specialty Therapy Management Program
The specialty therapy management program is a free service for all patients receiving a specialty medication from one of our specialty pharmacies. Some common conditions managed in this program include rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, Crohn’s disease, multiple sclerosis, HIV, hepatitis C and cancer. Ask us about this program!
Frequently Asked Questions
- For most new medication orders, your doctor can order electronically or by fax.
- For refills, we offer a convenient refill management service that helps make sure you never run out of your medications. You can request refills by phone or through MyChart. For specialty medications, you can choose to receive refill messages via text, email, or through the Twistle app.
- If state law allows, we can offer you a generic medication that doesn’t cost as much. If we’re unable to fulfill your order, we’ll let you know right away.

- Medication delivery times may vary based on the type of medication and your needs.
- Medicine can be shipped to you via UPS, FedEx, USPS or by a local delivery service. Some medicine must be shipped quickly because it needs to be kept cold or has special instructions for use. If you need your prescription right away, please call us.
- Some medications require prior authorization (pre-approval from your insurance company) and may take longer to be approved and filled. We help work with your provider and insurance company to request approval. Once the medication is approved, we will contact you to discuss your medication and set up your medication delivery or pick-up.
