Providence Community Wellness provides education and programs to help you meet your weight loss goals. We approach nutrition and weight loss from a medical perspective, not extreme diets.

Our services and programs

Weight management program

Take charge of your health with the Providence Weight Management Program! This easy-to-use program provides you with the tools necessary to follow a healthy meal plan and reach your weight loss goals. It will walk you through what to eat each day, including recipes and meal ideas, while getting the nutrition your body needs. This program takes much of the guesswork out of eating for weight loss and eliminates the need for cumbersome calorie counting and nutrient tracking. Prevent T2

Prevent T2 is a year-long CDC-recognized diabetes prevention program that provides education, encouragement and the tools necessary to help individuals lose weight and reach their healthy lifestyle goals. The main goal of the program is for participants to lose 7% of their body weight by:

  • Tracking food intake and staying within a calorie goal each day
  • Tracking physical activity with a goal of 150 minutes per week
  • Privately weighing in each class session

InBody 570 body composition testing

The InBody 570 machine gives you a complete picture of your body composition using bioelectrical impedance. It measures the following with up to 99% accuracy:

  • Lean body mass
  • Body fat mass
  • Segmental analysis: measures each arm and leg as well as trunk independently
  • Basal metabolic rate
  • Visceral fat score
