Group of clinicians
Sexual assault and physical violence take a tremendous toll on you. Assault and Abuse Services at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett can help start the healing process — for your body and spirit.  When you come to us following an assault, we listen, provide comfort and offer support. We understand your pain and strive to do all we can to ease your burden. Our role as part of a larger team that helps survivors is to promote physical and emotional healing. If it’s your wish, we can help you seek justice as well. We identify and collect evidence and offer advocacy.  Healing is a journey. And it’s a journey that you take on your own timeline. But you don’t have to travel alone —we’ll be with you every step of the way.

We offer many services for people affected by sexual assault, physical violence and domestic violence.

24-Hour crisis line

Our crisis line is staffed around the clock. If you’re looking for caring, supportive assistance, call 425-252-4800. All calls are confidential.

Advocacy

We offer specially trained advocates to assist sexual abuse and assault victims of all ages. This includes rape victims, sexually abused children and their non-offending family members and adult survivors of child sexual abuse. These services are free of charge. Call 425-297-5771.

Forensic exams

Highly trained registered nurses are available 24 hours a day to conduct forensic exams. These medical exams identify injuries and collect evidence that may be helpful in a prosecution. They may be used with victims of sexual assault, physical assault and domestic violence. We also do these exams on children, elders and vulnerable adults suspected of being abused, neglected or maltreated.

When we think a child may have been sexually assaulted, we have a certified nurse practitioner available to conduct a medical exam and gather evidence. We do these exams at Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center, a child-friendly environment that helps put kids at ease.

For information about these exams in an emergency situation, call 425-252-4800. You may also go to the emergency department. To schedule a nonemergency exam, call 425-297-5770.
