Why Choose Us for Pediatric Neurosurgery?

Providence Pediatric neurosurgery offers specialized and safe care to meet the unique needs of young patients.

To help you navigate your child’s treatment, we offer 24-hour parent interaction in our pediatric units. If your newborn requires neonatal care, you’ll have an experienced neonatologist available full time in our neonatal intensive care unit. And because a hospital experience can have psychosocial and developmental components for young patients, we have child-life specialists who support children and their families throughout their care.

Treatment for young patients with brain tumors is best developed by a team that includes tumor physicians from various medical specialties. Our board-certified neurosurgeons are specially trained in surgeries for the head, spine, and nerves in infants and children. We can also care for young patients during emergencies in our Level 2 trauma center.

Our team includes pediatric intensive care specialists who manage a state-of-the-art pediatric intensive care unit, ensuring comprehensive care for our young patients. You can be confident that your child is receiving the most advanced care available.
