Fast, Convenient Lab Testing
The Laboratory at Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital offers important tests including complete blood counts, basic blood chemistries and urinalyses. These tests help your doctor evaluate and monitor your health. We offer walk-in service. No appointment is necessary.
Our Approach
We understand that no one enjoys taking time out of their day to get blood work or other lab tests done. We get you in and out of the lab as quickly as possible and focus on keeping you comfortable throughout your visit.
We recommend that you check with your doctor before your test, as some tests may require special preparation, such as fasting before we draw your blood. If you’re having a stool or urine test, we will provide you with the necessary supplies and instructions for collecting the samples to return to the lab.
It’s a good idea to talk with your doctor if you have questions about why the test is being ordered. Our lab staff can answer questions about how we will collect your sample. However, your doctor is best suited to tell you how the results are interpreted and how they will guide your care. Your results will be sent to the ordering doctor as soon as they are completed.
