Providence Telehealth wins Alaska Healthcare Champion Award

Providence Telehealth was recognized in an award to St. Elias Hospital in Anchorage Alaska. St. Elias won an innovation award for their TeleICU and TeleHospitalist programs. St. Elias was celebrated at the 2021 Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association's Quality & Patient Safety Awards: Celebrating Alaska's Healthcare Champions - Persevering Through Complexity on September 22, 2021.

The awards recognize individuals and teams taking progressive and effective steps to improve patient care and outcomes. During the pandemic, Alaska’s care providers have worked through incredibly challenging circumstances to deliver high-quality patient care programs, foster a culture of patient safety, and support sustainable improvements in quality and patient safety.
