Providence Cancer Institute Willamette Falls Clinic to open April 4

With expanded capacity for chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments, the new Providence Cancer Institute Willamette Falls Clinic within the new Carol D. Suzuki Cancer Center will support Clackamas County patients as they receive cancer care closer to home. This includes patients with breast conditions and cancer who will benefit from the convenience of consultations, clinic visits and surgery in one location.

 Services at the center include:

  • Expert care from Providence Cancer Institute oncology and hematology specialists
  • Chemotherapy and immunotherapy
  • Breast surgery and care for patients at a high risk for breast cancer
  • Access to over 150 clinical trials and research studies through Earle A. Chiles Research Institute
  • Oncology social work
  • Cancer education and supportive care

The center is dedicated in memory of Carol Danielson Suzuki, a role model of love, purpose and joy who courageously battled cancer for more than two years with family by her side. She was dedicated to serving others in the communities she called home, which included Oregon City. Now her spirit of serving others has manifested in a new center that will provide hope for patients with cancer.

Providence Willamette Falls and Providence Cancer Institute are grateful for the overwhelming support and generosity of the Danielson and Suzuki families, as well as countless residents of Clackamas County who made this expansion of cancer services possible.

Providence caregivers are invited to a clinic blessing 5 p.m., April 4, followed by an open house and self-guided tour for providers and members of the public.
