Chemical Dependency Treatment
Providence is dedicated to the health of each of our chemically dependent patients. We evaluate each patient holistically and treat them with the respect and concern they deserve.
Our full spectrum of care includes detoxification, inpatient treatment and a wide range of aides and services for our outpatients.
For more than 30 years, Providence physicians, nurses and counselors have provided treatment for addiction, abuse and/or dependency of the following drugs:
- Alcohol
- Amphetamines
- Methamphetamine
- Prescription medications
- Opiates
- Cocaine
- Marijuana
- Hallucinogens
We don't take the harmful effects of addiction lightly. Since chemical dependence affects nearly one in four individuals, we allow patients to self-refer to our programs, be referred by a friend, or be referred by a medical professional.
Our inpatient and outpatient programs treat chemical dependency as a primary, progressive and chronic disease in order to provide each patient with only the best care.
As a patient, your individualized care plan may include a blend of the following treatments and services*:
- Chemical dependency diagnostic assessment/evaluation
- Documentation of assessment/evaluation
- History and physical (H&P)
- Medical detoxification
- Inpatient rehabilitation
- Partial hospitalization and day treatment
- Outpatient treatment (OP)
- Intensive outpatient program (IOP)
- Oregon certified DUII provider
We also offer specialized programs for the elderly who struggle with managing multiple medications. These programs take the time to asses mobility, balance, strength, nutrition, medication use, and cognitive performance so that our elderly patients age optimally without the worry of becoming chemically dependent.
