With the national shortage of neurologists, many hospitals do not have the ability to staff 365 days of follow-up and rounding coverage. There is a high level of burnout with many of these physicians covering both inpatient and clinic settings.

TeleNeuroHospitalist service completes the continuum of care with comprehensive Providence TeleStroke and Emergent Neurology services. Patients are connected early with neurology consultants to improve overall outcomes. The service is available every day from 8am-5pm with 24/7 cross coverage.
