Anita Kallepalli, MD

Dr. Anita Kallepalli is board certified in internal medicine and allergy/immunology. She grew up in West Texas and completed medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. After completing her internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago she spent one year working as an adult hospitalist in Chicago. During her time as a hospitalist Dr. Kallepalli treated many patients with asthma complications and decided to pursue a career in allergy/immunology in order to focus on optimizing outpatient asthma care and education. She completed her fellowship at the UCLA-VA program in Los Angeles and recently joined FamilyCare Allergy and Asthma after practicing in Redwood City for 4 years. Her areas of interest include asthma, food allergies, atopic dermatitis, chronic urticaria, and allergic rhinitis. Dr. Kallepalli and her husband enjoy being outdoors and exploring with their dog Teddie. They recently welcomed a son into their family and are looking forward to showing him all the beautiful hiking trails in the area in the near future.
