The wait time was not an issue for me even tho it was not the exact time of the appointment. This provider is a very specialized surgeon and was involved in some other communication with another patient so my waiting was understood and OK. This provider is an amazing doctor and I so appreciate that I got to have an appointment with him and that he ordered specific tests that were so important in my visit with him. Thank you Dr. K

I have only good things to say about Dr. Kirker he was amazing, very easy to talk to and listen to what my concerns were. He gave me as much time as I needed to visit with him. I didn't feel rushed at all. :)

After meeting Dr Kirker, I felt a sense of relief. For 3 months I had not met with anyone who could tell me what was going on with my heart. Kirker was respectful, knowledgeable and extremely kind. It's hard to find a doctor who listens and gave clear explanations. We were fearful when we went in to see him but left knowing i were in good hands. I have no doubts that Dr Kirker will be successful in making me healthy again.

Well prepared for visit and candid/honest

Excellent in the end but we anguished for weeks in a desperate effort to get what we understood to be urgently needed treated for what was labeled by the radiological lab as a rapidly expanding SOVA which appeared to present a very high risk of short term death. We were in a seemingly desperate state. Only when we finally saw Dr Kirker was it made clear that I didn't have an aneurysm of the sinus of the Valsalva which was an extremely welcome and belated revelation. Dr. Kirker was wonderful. He provided thorough, thoughtful, relateable and clearly expert guidance. We are grateful to have him in our corner.

I have complete confidence in the doctor and the staff was very knowledgeable abd helpful.

He explained everything to me very well and definitely calmed my anxiety. If I need surgery in the future I will request that he is my surgeon. Thank you!

All of Dr. Kirker's experience, knowledge and expertise in his field withstanding, he is a still a human and knows how to connect with patients on a human level, be realistic about outcomes and help patients embrace their fears.

He's the first out of the 5 cardiac care doctors I've talked to who I feel has told me most of the story about my situation. I understand why he didn't discuss the things he left out, because many people might over react. Dr Kirker came up with the best plan, by far, for my cardiac care that I've heard yet! Dr Kirker listened to me and he had read ALL of my records before my visit. He was sensitive to my feelings and those of my husbands. I feel extremely confident that we made the right choice in choosing Dr Kirker as my surgeon for my upcoming surgery. He was clear, concise, and was passionate about his work.

Excellent meeting, Dr Kirker gave me a complete rundown on the findings from my echo cardiogram and said my aortic root was good and all he suggested I come back in a year to monitor my situation.

Dr. Kirker and the entire team around him are all amazingly wonderful caring people. All of them display and practice professionalism that allows the patient to feel valued and respected as an individual not just another patient. They take the time to get to know you. I have been to this office annually and always feel welcomed every time. He also did save my life. I maybe a bit biased. If I could give a bigger score than 10 I would.
