Dr Fitton was thoughtful, thorough, lucid and caring in explaining my condition. He has outstanding people skills. He is impressive surgeon and I'm lucky to be his patient. I look forward to hearing from him the future as he monitors my case.

We drove to St Vincent's from Salem and got there early. We were checked in, walked back and met with the surgeon before the actual scheduled appointment time. All staff were wonderful!!

Extra cudos to the 3 people we saw for that appointment. They all gave detailed information, and the 2 cardioligists were especially informative, which was very helpful.

Dr Fitton did not hurry the meeting and took the time to thoroughly explain TAVR and SAVR, and how they related to my condition. He answered all of my and my daughter's questions and gave me confidence to proceed forward.

The doctor I most recently saw was a heart specialist. I went in very agitated and worked up. He was calm, knowledgeable, and had a great manner about him. I left feeling informed, healthy, and grateful.

Dr. Fitton is a cardiologist. The appointment was a follow-up to an aortic aneurism detected by a Cat scan. He was exceptional in describing the aneurism and it's implications. He spent much more time than I had anticipated to teach me about aortic aneurisms and to answer my questions. I give him an excellent rating in all aspects of the appointment, especially in calming my fears about this potentially serious problem.

Came prepared, knew past medical history & actual test results over past 6 years on this condition. Also had a hard copy of pictures & diagrams to help explain the situation. Very thorough & was obvious at the top of his field of expertise.

Excellent care

Dr. Fitten explained my aortic valve stenosis in a way that was easy to understand, and addressed the options and procedures with their risks and benefits in a way that was easy to understand. He was very knowlegeable and personable. He also made good eye contact both with me and with my friend who accompanied me, even though she was sitting across the room.

First encounter with this group of physicians, everyone involved was well informed and eager to share what is and needs to be done.
