About Boris R. Larreta
Boris Larreta, M.D., was born in Quito, Ecuador. He came to the United States at the age of 10 and has lived in large cities throughout the country, including Denver, San Diego and Minneapolis. After medical school, he decided to return to the Los Angeles area. Dr. Larreta has always had an interest in biology and physiology and a desire to help those in need. Dr. Larreta has more than 30 years of experience in the field of medicine. His clinical interests include congestive heart failure and interventional cardiology.
When caring for patients, he strives to help them understand their medical condition, course of treatment, and preventative measures. Dr. Larreta is fluent in Spanish and is the only board certified native Spanish speaking invasive cardiologist in the San Fernando Valley. He has a special interest in the prevention and regression of coronary heart disease and participates as a Clinical Instructor at the UCLA School of Medicine.

Dr Larretta calls you himself without setting up a teleconference". This is excellent caring and support! Some Dr's will say you have to make an appoint, just to answer a few questions or a concern. So that alone is valuable to the pt. He is VERY RESPECTFUL of me!!!!!Some Dr's talk to you with no caring or respect, do not even talk to you in a pleasant tone or attitude. So Dr Larretta DOES and should receive a metal of HONOR!!
