Yicheng Tang, MD

This was my first visit with this provider and I am100% satisfied and look forward to be his patient for as long as I live.

I appreciated Dr Tang took the time to look at the over the counter supplements I'm taking and make recommendations as to each of them.

Dr Tang is just great. The hospitals phone system is terrible.

Poor bedside manner and insulting

This was my first visit to Dr. Tang since Dr. Ip retired. I do not know Dr. Tang well ,but my first visit was very good.

He was new because my regular cardiologist moved away and he recommended Dr Tang. I thought Dr. Tang was wonderful. He answered all my questions and I felt very good about the amount of time he spent with me. He seemed very caring and knowledgeable.

The provider correctly identified the type of injury I had on my leg, wrapped it, provided instructions to care for it, and advice on what to do if it got worse. The injury is healing nicely now, with very little pain or discomfort.

First time to meet this doctor I was very impressed.

Dr. Tang exhibits expertise, competence, compassion and understanding. He was attentive and positive throughout my appointment.

Dr. Tang was very thorough in ordering testing to insure that some abnormal information from a NM Nuclear Stress Test was not a situation that required any further medical actions beyond observation of general health and normal coronary changes. As my coronary provider he made me very comfortable with the state of my current health.

Doctor is brilliant. I trust him with all my complicated health issues.

Due to a mistake by the clerk, I waited over a hour to be seen by the doctor. Not to pleasant and I felt like the doctor rush me through.

This was the first time I have visited with dr Tang. He was wonderful and put my mind at ease with his explanation on my heart issues.

I was very impressed with Dr. Tang and received very good care and information from him. He made me feel very comfortable talking with him.

I was hoping for some more guidance on why my blood pressure drops to around 100 after breakfast after taking my Carvedilol and maybe a better approach to stabilizing my blood pressure. I told him what I was doing and he seem to agree that my approach of regulating the size of the blood pressure pills was ok. I guess I was hoping for greater insight and a more detail understand of the reaction between the blood pressure pills and the resulting blood pressure. He did seem surprised that I was doing as well as I am giving my medical history. This was my first visit with him after Dr Ip's retirement. It could be that I should communicate better and ask better questions.

Dr. Tang is my cardiologist, you would think as a matter of every visit that he would listen to my heart / chest. He did not listen. This was my first experience with Dr. Tang, he replaced Dr. Rediker. Not certain I will be back to see him. He did not make a good first impression to me.

For some unknown reason, my appointment was mistakenly cancelled, not by me. Dr Tang was able to see me after all within reasonable waiting time.

Dr Tang was well prepared for our initial visit. Showed interest in my general health and wellbeing. Provided a clear summary of his assessment.

Dr Tang is very knowledgeable, very easy to talk to, and is updated with my medical history. He is my new doctor since Dr Rediker retired.

Dr. Tang warmly greeted me and asked probing questions about my health. He is a very good listener and spoke with me with and my husband with respect. Looking forward to working with him.

Probably par for the course in medical practice these days. There was no "interest" in what I had to say, it was quite noticeable that he just related to the computer and his phone was transcribing, I really was not part of the equation. His comment that supplements were really not worth anything made me realize, as young as he was, his medical school training has not / did not teach anything about nutrition. As Hippocrates said, "Let medicine be your food and food be your medicine," We still haven't learned, drugs continue to be more important the nutrition. But again, he was more engaged with his computer and content for his phone to transcribe than to give any information about the tests I had received. (I could pick up a copy at the front office.) It was one of those "in and out appointments." "Next."

I had to visit the office In person to schedule an appointment Because no one answered the phone during business hours. However once there, they assisted me quickly.

First time visit with Dr. Tang and he seems very knowledgeable. He did have access to my medical records. He spent the requisite time with me but I probably should have been more prepared to ask more questions about my condition given it was our first meeting. Some of ratings reflect the reception area. They are not as welcoming as they should be in either checking in or checking out. The doctor and his assistant were very good.

Everything was great once I was able to be seen. The only problem I had was the wait time to get an appointment for me, a new patient. Originally they said it would take almost 3 months, but because this doctor was new to the practice, they were able to get me in sooner.

Dr. Tang was great. Explained things and was concerned about my health.

My prior cardiologist was Dr. Rediker, with whom I have had a very positive Dr./patient relationship with for many years. Because he is soon to be retired, my appointment was made with Dr. Tang. My appointment was recommended by my Harvard Eye glaucoma Dr. In order to see if there was a relationship between a possible eye infection and cardio links. Dr. Tang went out of his way to see what blood work was recently done by my rheumatologist Dr. Catherine Driver and sent me to the lab to redo those tests to see If there was a change.Dr. Tang kindly called me the following day which was on a weekend to let me know that I did not have a serious eye Infection. I appreciate that Dr. Tang went out of his way on a weekend to give me that Information. Thank you, Dr. Tang! C
