Yicheng Tang, MD

Dr. Yicheng Tang is a board-certified general cardiologist practicing in Orange County. He completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh and completed Cardiology fellowship at UC Irvine Medical Center. The time Dr. Tang has served at UC Irvine has given him a great amount of experience working with patients from Orange County. Dr. Tang has expertise in advanced cardiac imaging and will continue to expand the cardiac CT capabilities at Providence Mission Hospital. He is passionate about forming a collaborative patient-physician relationship to maximize quality of life for those living with chronic cardiac disease. He is also a firm believer in the educator role of the physician in empowering patients to take independent steps in the prevention of cardiac disease. Dr. Tang lives in Irvine with his family. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, and cooking.
