About Prabhtej S. Brara

Dr. Brara graduated from Loyola University-Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at UCLA-WLA VA, where he was awarded resident of the year, and subsequently completed his Cardiology fellowship there.

Dr. Brara spent two years of additional expertise training in complex angioplasty at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. During his training at Scripps Clinic, he developed a strong interest in the application of cutting edge coronary device technology in the treatment of complex coronary lesions, as well as published and presented research at the American College of Cardiology.

Among Dr. Brara's special interests are coronary artery disease prevention, complex coronary angioplasty with utilization of state-of-the-art technology, and the diagnosis and treatment of patients with peripheral vascular disease.

Dr. Brara is a Fellow of the Society of Coronary Angiography and Interventions. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology.
