About Dave T. Kim
Dr. Kim is board-certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular diseases. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society. He was involved with research into mechanisms of sudden cardiac death and atrial fibrillation at Cedars Sinai.
Dr. Kim was instrumental in the development of the cardiac rhythm services at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana and currently serves as its Medical Director. He was one of the first electrophysiologist to perform catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation in the San Fernando Valley, and the first to implant a leadless pacemaker at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center.

A member and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS), Dr. Kim is board certified in cardiovascular diseases and cardiac electrophysiology.  He is an attending physician at Providence Tarzana Medical Center.
Dr. Kim currently serves as the Medical Director for Cardiac Rhythm Management at Providence Tarzana Medical Center.  He is also a regular panel member and speaker at the annual Providence Cardiovascular Symposium.

Dr. Kim ran late, as he was having trouble with his AI taking notes. I waited nearly a full hour (58 minutes) in the waiting room. He always listens to my questions and reviews my tests with me when I am with him. Sometimes, a test is three or four months before I see him, and it's a long time to wait to know what they mean. He seems to care and doesn't rush me. He is hard to reach by phone and sometimes his care team doesn't return calls or confirm messages are left for the doctor.
