About Thi B. Dang
Dr. Dang grew up in the Los Angeles area. She majored in molecular cell biology and psychology at UC Berkeley and attended UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine for medical school. She completed her internship, residency, and fellowship at Harbor-UCLA, where she also served as chief fellow. Dr. Dang understands the importance of a holistic approach to cardiovascular health and emphasizes prevention, early detection, treatment, and rehabilitation in the management of her patients. She strongly believes that the key to improved health outcome is through helping patients understand their medical conditions and therapies. Her professional interests include hypertension, cardiomyopathy, valvular heart diseases, atherosclerotic heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, women’s cardiovascular health, and preventive cardiology. She is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. Dr. Dang is also interested in cardiac imaging and is board certified in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
